Jervon Morris a.k.a. Sticky was in a gang that worked the Marion Gardens Housing Complex, distributing heroin and cocaine, U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger said. Members and associates of the gang also engaged in acts of violence, including numerous assaults, shootings, and murders, which targeted rival gang members and others, Sellinger said.
In 2011, Morris and others murdered a person at Gifford Avenue and Bergen Avenue in Jersey City.
Three other gang members, Kevin Williams, Terick Rogers and Jakeem Gibson-Madison were recently sentenced to 16.5 years, 16 years and 15 years in person for their involvement in numerous assaults and shootings.
